The 2017 Buick LaCrosse debuts as the first with the new face of Buick, which we first saw earlier this year on the well-received Avenir concept.

What Is It?

The LaCrosse is Buick’s big sedan, and it competes with the Toyota Avalon, Kia Cadenza and others. In a reach beyond the previous LaCrosse, the 2017 model makes a bid for competitiveness with the venerable Lexus ES. This LaCrosse is a further evolution of GM’s Epsilon platform, which is shared with the Chevy Malibu, Buick Regal and others.

What Buick Is Saying:

Duncan Aldred, vice president of Buick:

“The Avenir concept shattered expectations of what a Buick could be and the 2017 LaCrosse promises to do the same.

Its expressive design represents a break from convention and highlights the progressiveness in all new Buick models.”
