The Chevelle is a special car on its own, featuring the 450-hp, LS6 Turbo Fire V-8, and a Muncie M-22 four-speed. What makes this one particularly interesting, though, is the mileage. With just 26 miles since new, it’s one of the lowest original mile Chevelles in existence.

King Cobras were the kind of brilliant skunk-works cars that used to come out of Ford Motor Company’s association with Holman-Moody and Bud Moore Engineering in the 1960s and early 1970s. It’s one of just two prototype cars, with a Boss 429 and a toploader four-speed. The King Cobra was in direct response to the Dodge Charger Daytona/Plymouth Superbird program, but it was shelved when NASCAR’s homologation rules increased from 500 production cars to 3,000.

RK Motors Charlotte was created in 2010 when Rob Kauffman, founder of RK Collection and co-owner of Michael Waltrip Racing, and Joseph M. Carroll, founder of Best of Show Automotive, leveraged their success and experience to create one of the nation’s premier muscle car restoration and resale facilities.

The Hilton Head Concours takes place November 1-2 at Hilton Head’s Port Royal Golf Club, but the celebration begins with the Savannah Speed Classic on Friday, October 24. The following weekend, the Hilton Head Island Concours will feature many of the world’s finest classic and collector cars. Attendees will include automotive industry leaders such as Edsel B. Ford II, iconic designers J. Mays and Ian Callum and legendary racers Bobby Rahal, Hurley Haywood and Brian Redman.
