Look for Tom Brady Driving an Aston Martin at the Super Bowl

The New England Patriots are once again in the Super Bowl, which means Tom Brady is in Atlanta getting ready to go for another win. Thousands of fans will be there to cheer him on and if they’re lucky, then they may catch a glimpse of the famous quarterback off the field driving the streets of Atlanta in an Aston Martin.

Brady became a brand ambassador for Aston Martin after a chance meeting with Marek Reichman, Aston Martin’s creative director. He shared how much he liked the brand even though he’d never owned one.

Aston Martin decided to give him the chance to experience its cars first hand by loaning him a Rapide. He drove it to practice the week before that year’s Super Bowl and even took a few players along for the ride.

Out of this came the idea for the ambassadorship, which is why Brady will be driving an Aston Martin while he’s in Atlanta. Look for him behind the wheel of either an Aston Martin DB11 coupe or the new Aston Martin DBS Superlegerra.

Laura Schwab, Aston Martin of the Americas president, says working with Brady has been an incredible experience. “He’s so remarkably genuine, and mindful of what his performance means to others. He’s visited our factory in Gaydon, and was so complimentary of the men and women who built the cars. He equated their meticulousness to how he approaches football,” she said. “He was so nice, taking pictures and praising everyone’s work. He’s incredible generous — he even sent me a ‘happy birthday’ video — I’ll save that one for posterity!”

While there won’t be an Aston Martin commercial during the Super Bowl, there will be plenty of action from the brand in Atlanta. It’s holding an event at a local home temporarily renamed the Aston Martin Club 1913 Estate.

There will be cocktail receptions, luncheons, and test drives. Guests will have the chance to get behind the wheel of the Vantage, DBll Volante, and DBS Superlegerra. This is invitation only for customers, prospective customers, and friends of the brand. Getting your hands on these tickets might be tougher than getting tickets to the Super Bowl.

Aston Martin is also working with charity Big Game Big Give on their Saturday night Super Bowl party. This year’s event is hosted by Ludacris with a special performance by The Black Eyed Peas.

The event includes the opportunity to bid on exclusive items, which is where Aston Martin comes into the picture. This year’s auction will include an Aston Martin Vantage and an F1 package for race enthusiasts.

If you’re lucky enough to be in Atlanta for this year’s Super Bowl, enjoy the game and keep your eyes open. You just might spot Tom Brady cruising the streets in an Aston Martin.
