Pantless, Drunk Woman Dragged From Burning Camaro

Our friends at the Metrowest Daily News report that a 52-year-old woman from Framingham, Massachusetts was dragged from a burning Chevrolet Camaro yesterday, after she fought with a passerby who tried to help her.

She sounds like a delight.

According to Framingham Police, officers arrested Paula McNulty-Romani, 52, after she left a gas station just before 7:00 pm in her 2012 Chevrolet Camaro.

She hit a curb in the car, then crashed into a nearby utility pole. After striking the pole, she backed up and the car caught fire.

“A bystander pulled her from the car and she began struggling against him,” Framingham Police Lt. Stephen Cronin told the Metrowest Daily News.

Despite smelling of alcohol and wearing nothing but a shirt, when the police tried to question McNulty-Romani, she denied she’d been drinking.

“She said, ‘I haven’t (expletive) drank anything, dude. You’re an (expletive),’” Cronin said.

After cursing out the officers, McNulty-Romani officers alerted her that she was under arrest, and she started brawling with three of the officers before they finally cuffed her and put her in a cruiser.

She was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of liquor (her second offense), resisting arrest, driving to endanger and disorderly conduct.

McNulty-Romani is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Framingham District Court.
