Bad timing killed the 2009 Pontiac Solstice before it even got a chance to run out of the gate, but perhaps it was really a blessing in disguise all along. The brand’s swan song proved to be one of its best models in decades, with the GPX being able to hit 5.2 seconds from 0 to 60. The Solstice was famously a pet project of legendary automotive executive, Bob Lutz during his tenure as Vice Chairman, Product Development at GM.
