Nissan Brings Five One-of-a-Kinds to SEMA

The Specialty Equipment Market Association Show, otherwise known as SEMA, is being held this week in Las Vegas. It’s the perfect location to showcase over-the-top cars, which is exactly what Nissan is doing with five special SEMA vehicles.

The Nissan Project Clubsport 23 celebrates the much-loved 370Z. The idea was to create a car owners could go out and recreate on their own using Nissan Motorsports or aftermarket parts.

Nissan replaced the original 350-horsepower 3.7-liter engine in an older 370Z Nismo with a new 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 with 400 horsepower. It also enhanced the steering, suspension, brakes, and cooling system along with adding a Gloss Burnt Orange wrap, full roll cage, and diamond-patterned upholstery.

A second 370Z makes an appearance at SEMA during a break from the racing circuit. Chris Forsberg’s Formula Drift 370Z is on display at the Nissan booth.

SEMA is something of a party, which makes the Nissan Kicks Sound Machine a perfect fit. Fabricated by Vehicle Effects in Hollywood, it made its debut at the BET Awards this summer.

This Kicks includes the class-exclusive Bose Personal Sounds system, along with some upgrades. There are eight Bose Virtually Invisible 791 speakers, a custom panel and speaker housing, three Bose F1 1,000-watt subwoofers, and two Bose RoomMatch Utility RMU206 speakers.

Hidden speakers are revealed by a pneumatic roof panel and there are even pneumatically-controlled speakers tucked away under the Kicks. It also has professional DJ equipment with an articulating rear drawer that reveals all the controls.

The Ultimate Service Titan isn’t just for show. This is a mobile response unit built for the American Red Cross in South Florida. It gets a long list of features designed to help first responders.

There’s a desk, solar power generator, and built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. A bed and first aid kit help first responders care for the injured and a built-in fridge lets the Ultimate Service Titan function as a blood-supply delivery vehicle.

The temperature-controlled box includes a stove, microwave, and sink so volunteers can rest. It can even serve as a blood collection unit to further help with emergency efforts.

Finally, there’s the Paws One Titan to help the animals left without a home during a disaster. This is an animal rescue vehicle built in collaboration with Animal Rescue Rigs.

You can see all of these special Nissan vehicles at this year’s SEMA show running through November 2 in Las Vegas.
