2008 Toyota Camry Solara SLE

The Camry name says a mouthful about this economical drop-top. 2008 Chrysler Sebring Touring

The standard equipment engine for this sporty convertible is a 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder that may be upgraded to a 189-horsepower 2.7-liter V6 in this trim level. Both engines are backed by a four-speed automatic transmission. An upgraded cloth upholstery configuration, six-speaker audio system, 17-inch wheels, full power accessories, air conditioning, cruise control, tilting and telescoping steering column, and a 60/40 split rear bench seat are listed as standard equipment. A vinyl soft top is also standard equipment with a power retractable hard top offered as an option.

2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT

The ’07 Spyder GT boasts a 260-horsepower 3.8-liter V6 engine bolted to either a six-speed manual or an optional five-speed automatic transmission (with sequential Shiftronic mode). Entry trim level cars come with a 150-horsepower variant, mid-level Touring and Limited cars are outfitted with a turbocharged versio that produces 180-horsepower, and the GT trim level offers a tuned version that makes 230-horsepower. All trim levels except the GT come with only a four-speed automatic transmission. GT trim offers your choice of either the four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual transmission.

2008 Smart ForTwo Passion

This tiny, 2-seater, rear-wheel drive convertible is powered by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine that churns out 71-horsepower. It is backed by a five-speed automanual transmission that is shifted via console-mounted stick (with no clutch). Expect to find power steering, air conditioning, power accessories, 15-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, leather wrapped steering wheel, electric rear window defogger, sport steering wheel with paddle shifters, power heated sideview mirrors, a six-disc CD player/changer, a manually operated canvas top, and leather trimmed upholstery.
