If you’re the shy type and the giant chrome “RAM” logo on the tailgate hasn’t scared you away, the Ram 1500 Stinger Yellow Sport probably has you reaching for an inhaler.

Announced on May 9, 2016, the new Ram 1500 Stinger Yellow Sport will be available in a limited production run of just 2,500 trucks.

“The Ram 1500 Sport offers unique features for customers who enjoy aggressive styling and great performance,” said Mike Manley – Head of Ram Truck Brand, FCA Global. “Truck buyers are very attached to their vehicles, and the Stinger Yellow Sport model adds a custom appearance to the segment’s best-looking truck.”

Unlike some limited-edition trucks that are only available with certain drivelines, the Stinger Yellow Sport is available in both 4×2 and 4×4 configurations, in the Crew Cab body style. The truck features a 395hp V-8, paired with an eight-speed TorqueFlite transmission.

The Stinger Yellow Sport shares its bright color with the recently introduced Ram 1500 Yellow Rose of Texas edition, which is sold only in that state.

The Stinger Yellow Sport gets dual chrome-tipped exhaust outlets, a vented sport hood and massive 22-inch wheels on the 4×2 version. The four-wheel drive truck gets 20-inch rollers.

There are unique touches in the black interior, too, including Light Black Chrome and yellow details. Accent stitching is body color, and the seat is embroidered with the Sport emblem. The Ram logo is body color on the headrests.

The Ram 1500 Stinger Yellow Sport features an 8.4AM Uconnect infotainment system, with standard navigation, as well as a standard rear-view camera. Look for the truck to arrive in dealerships in the next couple of weeks, with a starting MSRP of $43,145.
